Great Weekend!

Lauren stayed with us on her way back from Phoenix and threw me a baby shower. We had a great time with friends! We ate, talked, and just had a great time catching up with friends. Thanks everyone for the great gifts and fun time!
I took Friday off of work and Lauren and I shopped a little, went biking, and went and hiked up Adam's Canyon to the waterfall after Cameron got off work. Afterwards, we came home and made pizza. It was so fun to have Lauren visit us for a few days!

Our New Crib!

Here are a couple pictures of our new crib! We searched on KSL for a few days, and found this one that was perfect! It is fun to see the room coming together a little bit. We are getting excited and know that time is going to go by so fast! We still have about 2 months before we hit our due date, but I can already tell time is going to fly. Cameron starts school again on August 25th. I think he is excited to get back into the routine. He is taking Spanish classes this semester to work towards his Bachelor's in Spanish.

I am still working and this week should be crazy because our office is moving from Kaysville to Ogden. Lauren will be visiting us on Friday and Saturday, so we are way excited for that.

I know I haven't been good about posting pictures of how I look at the different weeks in my pregnancy. To be honest, we haven't been too good at taking pictures. I will get a recent one up here soon!

Week in Montana

Well, as big of a bummer as it is, we had to come home from vacation! We took about a kagillion pictures and there is no way I could post them all. So here is a teeny bit of what we did. Les got to come on a few hikes, but we wouldn't let her come to any peaks with us. We spent 3 days in Glacier park, a day at the cabin, and a day floating the Swan river. What amazing country!!!!

Busy Summer! (With Pictures)

We have had a very busy June! We started the month off by Cameron running the Utah Valley Marathon down Provo Canyon. We had a great time and Cameron had an awesome race. It was a perfect morning with overcast skies, and the rain held off throughout the day. We had a blast.

A few days later, I headed to Phoenix to visit Lindsey and Adam and Montanna! I had soo much fun playing with my 1 year old niece, celebrating her birthday and helping making her cake, and enjoying Phoenix. It was so nice to get away and head on a trip. It went by way too fast, as they always do. Montanna is getting so big, and was so much fun.

Right after I got home, we ran the South Ogden 5K fun run. We had a lot of family and friends participating. Cameron ended up third, not bad at all just a week after running a marathon. I took it easy and just enjoyed being in the midst of all the runners.

At the end of the week, we headed up to Liberty, UT to spend time with Cameron's whole family at a cabin. Cam's brother and his family had come up from Colorado, so we had fun playing with our 2 nephews and 1 niece. We had a campfire with smores, swam in Pineview resevoir, and just relaxed and ate tons of food!Hanging out at the Campfire

The Harvey Family

Wednesday night my sister-in-laws, Leigh and Kristi, had a baby shower for me with the Harvey family. We had fun playing a few games, opening presents, and eating great dessert.

Yesterday was Cameron's birthday and we both were lucky enough to get the day off from work. We played with our niece and nephews, went out to eat, and had chocolate lava cakes made by Kristi and Taylor for dessert!

Tomorrow we will race in the Kaysville 5K, head to the parade after, have a barbeque with the Harveys, and watch fireworks!

Lost pics from the last update

Here are some of the pics from the last few weeks of hiking and biking around town.

On the Indian Trail

After hiking the Indian Trail I treated Les to her first ever slurpee!!  I know, I couldn't believe she hadn't ever had one either.  The 7eleven in Ogden doesn't quite compare to Kaysvilles millions of flavors, but they were still pretty good!

Updates

Well, I was going to add a bunch of pictures, but for some reason it isn't working for me right now. We have had a busy month, and it should stay that way for a few weeks.

A couple weeks ago we found out that we are going to be having a little girl! We are so excited. Everything is going great, and the baby is doing great. I am a lot less tired and overall having a great time with the pregnancy.

Cameron has been getting ready to run another marathon this Saturday. He is running the Utah Valley Marathon. It should be a fun weekend. On June 22, Cameron will take his state test to officially become an RN. He has started a RN residency program at work, and is excited for the change in career.

We have tried out a couple shorter hikes so far this summer: Indian Trail in Ogden, and Malan's Peak on Memorial Day. We have also been enjoying riding our bikes on the new Legacy trail starting in Farmington, and swimming at the Weber State Pool.

I am headed to Phoenix to visit my sister Lindsey in about a week, and I am so excited. A few days after I return, we will head to Huntsville to have a fun weekend with the Harvey family, and then we will then head to Montana for a visit in mid July. Life is keeping us busy and we are loving it.

I will try to post pictures as soon as my computer lets me!
