We didn't take too many pictures of our day on the 4th of July, but I figured I better document it anyways. We slept in a bit and then went on a stroller run along the Centennial Trail. We love having this place to run at especially with strollers.
Taking a break with a mile left to go!
We decided to check out the parade that we heard about in Liberty Lake about 10 minutes away. Really it was a bunch of golf carts with some candy, but of course the girls loved it. Afterwards they were able to decorate a cookie and meet some princesses (I couldn't even post the princess pictures because they looked nothing at all like the princesses. I guess we are way too spoiled by meeting all the real ones at Disneyland. The girls didn't even really want a picture with them!)
So many sprinkles!
We had a BBQ dinner. Fireworks are banned in Washington-at least our area. We were able to find some poppers that the kids throw down or step on, and a couple sparkling bombs. Fireworks were at 10pm- and we all survived until then! Our neighbors let us follow them to their special parking spot, and the kids ran around with their friends until show time. The fireworks were great, and then we all headed home to sleep. Fun day!!
