End of Soccer

We survived Spring Soccer!! It was only a 6 week season, but it seemed like we would get some gorgeous days during the week, but by the time Saturday rolled around, the rain clouds and wind rolled it with it. The girls both have shown a lot of improvement from when they started in the fall. Aubrey even scored her first goal!! It was a pretty exciting day. And Ada has continued to be an aggressive player- sometimes scoring 5 or more goals a game.

Ada's coach handed out medals after the last game. The girls loved them. We have met a lot of friends through soccer and it has been a nice way for both the girls and me to meet new people.

And Penny and Paige were great cheerleaders. Penny liked watching the games and cheering for her sisters and playing soccer on the sidelines.

Ada's outfit when I asked her to put on warmer clothes. Shorts with soccer socks.

Zack and Kellie were very nice to come to the girl's games one weekend. Of course the girls loved the extra attention and played extra hard.

Liberty Lake Trail Run

At the end of April Cameron and I were able to get out and race the Liberty Lake Loop 8 Mile Trail Run. We were lucky and got a beautiful morning to run. It is always fun to be around other runners and meet new friends and enjoy doing what we love.

We both have been working on running more and more and getting back into shape- now that Cameron has more time since he finished school and I am not pregnant anymore. It still feels like it consumes our lives at times, as we both try to find time to run, but we are starting to fall into a routine that works.

Cameron ended up finishing 4th overall, and I came in the 2nd female. We both felt great about it and it is always nice to see hard work begin to pay off.

I am sure we will make this trail run a tradition. So close to home, beautiful route, and so much fun!

After the race we rushed off to soccer games and yard work. Great Weekend!
