Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! Cameron's parents came into town, which was just what we needed to change up our routine and have something fun to look forward to. We were all so excited!

They came into town a day or two before Thanksgiving. We had so much fun just hanging around the house, going on walks, coloring, watching Secret Santa videos, and much more!

Pretty pies! Chocolate, buttermilk, and caramel apple.

Putting grandpa to work filling up the bird feeder.

Cupcake game with Grandma

Overall picture I took cause they looked cute!

Thanksgiving Dinner

Just the basic dinner with turkey and stuffing and potatoes and rolls.

mmmm....pumpkin roll.

And Paige always wants ALL the desserts.

Went on a walk to the Crystal Forest (or so our family calls it)

Always a fun place to explore.

A round of Phase 10

And Citadels

Making bracelets

Grandma Love

And then we got to set up the tree! Which basically just turned into a whirlwind of chaos and a big mess that needed picking up.

But at least the pictures make it look magical.

Showing grandma the ornaments they picked out last year and all the Christmas excitement.

Not sure where Paige is! But looking good in her new glasses.

More food. We try to cook all our favorites when we have company.

And geocaching! We found a lot of new caches and got Grandpa excited about trying it out in Utah.

The night before Grandma & Grandpa had to head home, we sent them on the Santa Cruise in Couer d'Alene with the kids. We must have picked the right cruise to go on, because there were only a handful of other people sailing with them. They cruised across the lake to the North Pole and got to hear Santa read their names off the Nice List and watch fireworks. We then ate pizza in the car at Costco and got huge Dairy Queen Blizzards to top off the evening.

Christmas magic has begun....

Santas Workshop

And the snowman after the cruise.

Cameron got off work just in time to join us, and we walked around downtown while they cruised, and then watched the fireworks on the far side of the lake and waved as their boat came back in.

And the goodbyes are always so hard. We always have tears. We dropped Penny and Paige off at school and then drove Grandma & Grandpa to the airport. One perk of being in virtual school! Thank you so much for the visit. Always fun to create more memories.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Winter Randoms

I think I've said it before, but we have been so grateful that each of our girls has had a good friend to spend time with even when they aren't able to attend school and do many of the things they normally do. Ada and Abby got to go roller skating once for the few days it was open before it shut down again!

And Abby and Ada are in the same class at school, so she was able to come to our house and do virtual school with us one day, and then her and Ada decided to make a cake. It turned out beautiful! And they had so much fun.

They were so proud of their finished cake!

Paige and her cute friend Boston.

Preschool buddies...Graham, Boston, and Paige

Penny is good friends with Bostons older sister Emry, which makes for easy play dates with them. Penny gets a ride home to our house from school with them everyday and it is one of the highlights of her day!

Paige's other good friends. haha.

I need a picture of Aubrey and her friends too! She has mostly spent time with her friend Amber, but also has spent some time with her friend Lilly, and even made a new friend from class that we have been able to hang out with a bit- Kynli.

So grateful my girls choose good friends!

Preschool headband.

Early October storm! Aubrey got to play at a friends house so the other girls and I went sledding and played at a park.

Seems like someone always has a loose tooth at our house!

Paige folded all the towels for me one day and I had to take a picture because I was impressed at how well she did!
