Skiing

Ready for ski season! Making sure everyone was set and ready.

First night ski. Cameron and I took turns on the bunny hill with Paige. We had the harness, but decided she needed to learn. At one point I wondered how we taught any of our girls to ski, but by the end of the night she was able to make it down the hill on her own. Kids are amazing.

Probably our last picture with the harness!

Skiing is always so fun with the girls. It won't be very long now until I can't keep up.

We also made it up to Silver Mountain. The girls all love the gondola ride up to the resort. This day ended up being soo cold and windy. Which made Paige pretty miserable to be with. It didn't feel like our best ski day, but it was still nice to get out breathing the mountain air.

The way too easy bunny hill tunnel! Even Paige decided it was too long and slow after one run.

Yeah for ski season!

Quick Montana Trip

We made a quick trip to Montana mid January. I always want to visit more often than we do. We didn't have too many plans, but we filled up our time very easily and wished we could stay longer.

We had a wonderful walk in the ice and snow along the River Road.

Trying to throw snowballs in a hole in the ice.

Walking on the ice on the edge of the river. Ada ended up with a boot full of water!

We also took the girls up night skiing at Big Mountain. I hadn't been there for years and years. Next year we will ski a day or two there.

Paige did so well and was able to ski around the whole mountain with us. She does wear out more quickly than the other girls, but she is improving so quickly.

We even caught the very last chair on the chairlift for the night before it closed down.

Mom helped the girls make the most beautiful winter hats.

Such a fun quick weekend. Hoping we can make it back again soon.

Beginning of the Year Randoms

Happy 2023!! Some more ice cream creations with Aubrey's Cream. This time the girls just took a grapefruit cup and froze it. I thought it was weird, but they ate it right up!

Just grapefruit and grapefruit juice.

We got to visit sweet Fynlee again. And all the other cousins!

It's so fun to have a baby around again!

Aubrey and Ada headed to the middle school dance.

Aubrey with some of her friends.

Cookies with Paige

Penny's cool marble run

Paige's kindergarten class put on a play and Paige was so brave and said her lines clearly and loudly. She was one of the best in her class! Its fun to see her continue to grow and be brave. The did The Mitten by Jan Brett and Paige was the Mole.

Ada's first trip to the temple to do baptisms.

Not the best lighting for pictures. Haha.

Career day at school. Paige was a swimmer.

And Penny a NASA scientist. She made herself a cool NASA badge, but I didn't get a picture of her until after school and by then it was gone.

Rock climbing at the Y

Ada in her grinder shirt! Aubrey and Ada worked hard all quarter to earn the coveted Grinder award in their PE classes. There were a lot of requirements.... working hard, doing well on written and physical tests, and not missing school. Only about 7 kids in the school earned it, and we were relieved and excited when both girls came home with the shirts.

One of Cameron's beautiful pizzas.

And a picture at Grandma Brough's funeral. Cameron was able to fly down to be with all the family shortly after the new year. We are glad he was able to go, and grateful we were able to join on Zoom from home. She will be missed.
