Corona Del Mar

Beach Day! Everyone slept in after Disneyland and we had a relaxing morning at home before heading to the beach. It was another perfect day, and because it was Thursday and slightly cool at the beach (by Californian standards), we basically had the place to ourselves.

Something about sand and water that can entertain kids for hours and hours and hours. They dug and ran around and splashed in the waves and built.

Aubrey wanted to be covered in sand

Even the babies did great. Penny still ate plenty of sand. The only downfall about going to the beach is that there really is no way to avoid traffic on the way home. We grabbed a couple pizzas and made the trek home.

And just a couple pictures at the end. We spent Friday all day at the pool and I guess didn't take too many pictures. I know Kent has some pool pics from Tuesday that we will have to get. Then we played and ate cookies and cream before saying goodbye. Our cousins headed out early Saturday morning.

Thank you so much for the visit. I couldn't have wished or hoped for a better time. Glad you made it home safe!

Disneyland!

Tuesday we spent the day at home swimming in the pool and resting up for Disneyland on Wednesday. Once again we started bright and early and made it to Disney around 9 am. It was busy, but we still didn't wait too long in any lines.

Group picture by the castle. Sometimes it's hard for me to play so much while Cameron deals with school and clinicals, and lots of stress. Luckily he was able to make it for a few hours in the afternoon today.

Meeting Tinkerbell and Silvermist

 And Mickey and Minnie!

The parades were great as always and the kids really soaked it all in.

Rides with Aunt Lauren

And this trip made me really wish we lived close. At least we have phones and face time.

We really packed it all in. Even a trip to the petting zoo.

I think there were only a handful of rides that we didn't make it on. Cameron and I took the kids home so the Astle's could ride Space Mountain multiple times and watch the light show. We left with the kids around 9 pm and were really amazed at how great they did on our 12 hour day.

Cousins and California Adventure

We had an incredible past week! Lauren and her family came to visit us and made the drive all the way from Idaho! And it was worth it. The girls and I felt like we were on vacation as well. And with my sister in town, we were able to have endless conversations for almost a whole week. We had an absolute blast, the kids all got along, and we only had minor meltdowns-which really only happened when we were home. The kids were great with the long days and excitement. But, with a professional photographer around, I noticed that I didn't try to take pictures as much. So here is a collection from Lauren and my camera's and we will have to get more from Kent.

The arrived Sunday afternoon and we played, ate dinner, and walked around our neighborhood showing them the park, pool, orange trees, and temple. Monday morning we got up early and headed to California Adventure for the day.

We started the morning with a Disney Junior show and meeting a few characters.

Emily really wanted to see Jake and I am glad we found him.

It makes me so happy to see these girls all together.

And of course we had to meet Anna and Elsa.

The actors are incredible, especially Anna today. The girls were in love.

Aunt Lauren and Ada

Ferris wheel!

Cars Land dance party

And the big sisters who were tall enough for the Cars ride.

So excited!!

Logan and Penny loved each other too. It is fun that they are at an age where they are really starting to play and interact with each other. And Logan especially loved Penny. They looked like little twins.

What a fun day and an excellent start to our week.
