Jazz Game and More

Last Thursday we went to a Jazz game with Leigh and Todd. It was a blast. It happened to be at the same time as the BYU March Madness game. Luckily, it was playing in the halls so we were able to watch BYU, and then went in to watch the Jazz. Both teams lost in overtime. We had so much fun, though.

Aubrey has been as busy as ever around the house. She has discovered music from the Ipod. She will sign music and let you know that she wants to listen.

Goggles!

I went out shopping with a couple of my friends on Saturday and Aubrey found these sunglasses. She didn't take them off the whole half hour we were in the store. I was hoping she would do the same thing in the running stroller, but we didn't have a lot of luck. Hopefully she will understand once summer really gets here.

Watching television. Probably signing times or Dora.

A few pictures from our Montana trip. Aubrey loved the spray cream. Papa would squirt it right into her mouth or on her finger.

She also had so much fun with rocks and the wagon. We miss Montana! And Grandma and Papa Dalton!

Montana Spring Break 2011

Once again we had way too much fun in Montana to take any pictures. Aubrey loved Grandma and Papa. She had a blast playing with them and grew up a lot this past week. She learned how to say and sign lots of new words while we were up there (she got to sign cookies and candy a lot, and also learned some new ones like cook). She loved her tub times with Grandma, giggling on the bed and throwing pillows at Papa, riding in the wagon, and throwing rocks. We love Montana!

One day Grandma and Aubrey stayed home and Dad, Cameron, and I cross country skied into the cabin. There was tons of snow at the cabin! We enjoyed shoveling, drinking hot chocolate, and enjoying the warm sunny day! We even got to cross country ski on Swan Lake!

One of Aubrey's favorite things to do was go out and get the paper with Papa or Grandma. She got so excited! She also loved feeding the birds and watching them eat while she ate.

Playing with Papa

My mom and I visited some friends and neighbors that we lived by growing up. One of them had fixed up a old car (The Robbins) and were kind enough to let Aubrey take it for a spin. She loved it!

The week was filled with tons of fun and tons of food! We ate salmon, steaks, pizza, tacos, spaghetti with homemade noodles, ham, and more! We enjoyed spending time with my grandparents as well. They spoiled Aubrey with jelly beans and cookies. Cameron and I were also able to go out on a date while Papa and Grandma played with Aubrey. We went to one of my favorite restaurants, The Back Room, and ate chicken and ribs, dessert, and went out to a movie afterwards. We had a great week. I had a hard time leaving and I know that Aubrey already misses her Grandparents.

At The Park

We started our Spring Break trip by heading up to Idaho Falls on our way to Montana to see Lauren, Brian, and Brynlee. We took the girls to a park when we first got there. They both loved the warmer weather and getting outdoors.

In the snow! Hopefully it melts soon!

Love the slides!

Pizza Party

Monday was a busy and fun day for us. In the early afternoon we got to watch our neighbor's kids for a few hours. The little boy, Isaac, is only a few weeks older than Aubrey. Taylor lives downstairs and just turned two. Aubrey absolutely loves having friends to play with. Taylor and Aubrey went into her room, shut the door, and played and giggled. Whenever I went in to check on them, Taylor would come over and shut the door. They didn't want to be interrupted!

Monday night we had a group of friends over for dinner. Each couple had a kid, so we had 5 little kids running around. The above picture is of Lila and Aubrey. Lila is a month older than Aubrey, but they are identical in size, height, hair color, etc. I have wanted to get a picture of them together since Aubrey was 7 months old, and sadly these pictures aren't too good.

Lila and Aubrey hanging out.

Looking out the window. Aubrey sits and looks out the window about 90% of every day. She loves airplanes, birds, cars, and trucks.

Some of the party. Kristie, Jeannie, Stevie

The guys hanging out in the kitchen. Not the best picture either.

What a fun day! We made individual pizzas, had great desserts, and had so much fun being with friends.

Wednesday, a few of us got together and took our kids swimming at Weber's pool. Aubrey was brave enough to jump to me from the side of the pool. And I dunked her under the water for the first time...it didn't go so well.

Usually when I give Aubrey a bath she just sits there and plays with toys. Tonight she got down on her stomach and started kicking her feet. After about a minute of this, she said, "Swimming! Swimming!" I couldn't believe it! She is growing up so fast.
