Harvey Fun Day!

Somedays we go all out and just play all day! This particular Saturday, we went ice skating, then out to lunch, followed by a trip to Flying Squirrel! The ice skating wasn't the best... it was snowing quite a bit that morning and they didn't clear off the rink, so it was more like trying to skate through snow. Paige handled it for about 5 minutes and then was done. Luckily she was free.

She just decided to sit. It was too much work to skate around. She didn't complain or whine. Just sat... until they told us she couldn't sit on the rink.

Penny did great!

Then lunch at Red Robin!

Flying Squirrel!

And then we were super nice and let the girls have a sleepover in Aubrey's room.

New Truck!

We bought a new (to us) truck! We are excited to be able to haul things and go into the cabin and have all kinds of adventures!

The girls don't want to ride in anything else!

February Randoms

Finally got the children's museum pass from the library and got to check out Mobius downtown.

Skate Night for the girls school. Penny did amazing! Didn't get a picture of the other girls because they were too busy off skating with their friends.

Visiting Grandpa with cousins.

Valentine's Day

Happy Valentine's Day!

Making cookies.  I didn't want to do this activity, so Aubrey and Ada promised they would do it and clean everything up. These pictures definitely don't tell the whole story. Halfway through I sent everyone away, divided the dough, rolled everyone their own section, and then we went back to having a good time.

Heart hair for school.

Since Cameron had the week off, I was able to go to the girls Valentine's parties.

It was fun to see all their school friends and their wonderful teachers.

Ada as an 100 year old.

Valentine's Day Activity Days activity. What a great group of girls!

Cookie party at church!

XC Ski to School

We got a ton of snow one weekend. Finally, on Sunday afternoon I decided to get everyone out of the house. We had them put on their cross country skis and went around the neighborhood. Aubrey and Ada all started dreaming of skiing to school the next day. I told them we would have to get up super early to make it happen, but the next morning the school had announced a 2 hour delay and all their dreams came true!

A two hour delay meant we had time to play. Came downstairs to see all the girls reading.

Our ice rink never really worked well, but the girls know we tried.

And then off to school!

Such a fun experience. It will be a day they won't soon forget.

Beautiful morning!

After we dropped the girls off we headed to pick up Penny from preschool. Paige was loving walking through the deep snow.

And pulling the skis.

And eating snow!

Waiting for Penny!

And playing in all the snow with Dad!

They built some snow tunnels. Cameron had the week off when we got all the snow, which was perfect. It was nice he didn't have to deal with traffic and drive in it all!
