Earlier this week we decided to get out of the house for a bit and go visit Cameron's mom. We got to her house and played for a bit, and she decided that she wanted to treat us all to a trip to Black Island Farms. We didn't really know what to expect, but we had a blast. We only wished we had gone earlier in the day to enjoy all the fun before it got dark. We were also a little unprepared as far as warm clothing went, but Aubrey seemed quite happy in my coat.
When we first got there we checked out all the animals. They had cows, donkeys, pigs, birds, peacocks, and more. Aubrey always loves animals.
They had 4 or 5 slides like this on the haybales. Aubrey got brave and did it on her own a couple times.
Mommy and Aubrey getting ready to go down.
There was a huge gutter slide. Aubrey loved climbing into the 'tree house' and yelling in the tunnel as we went down.
This little train was one of the favorites (although she really just loved everything). I wasn't sure how she would react once it started moving, but she thought she was so cool riding all by herself. Cam and I went with her the first time, and then she went all by herself. We let her ride it 3 times before we made her move onto something else.
All by myself!
Going so fast!
Family Picture at the Farm.
Corn Sandbox. Aubrey wasn't quite sure what to think of it.
Teeter-totter
They had drums made out of garden and tractor tools. You played them with bolts. Aubrey enjoyed banging away. Thanks goodness we don't own these drums. I think we would all go crazy.

Thanks Grandma for the fun evening. And for holding Ada so that we could run around and play with Aubrey. In the evening they lit a bonfire and we had hot chocolate and kettle corn and watched a couple pig races. We will definitely visit again next year!
Looking at the fire.
What a blast! I think we took about 100 pictures.
