Montana Thanksgiving

Lots of pictures from this past week. We had a blast spending time in Montana with my parents and Lauren & Brian & Brynlee. We headed up last Friday and stayed just over a week, coming back on Sunday. We had cold weather the week we were up there, with highs in the single digits and lows below zero. We had fun playing with the girls, getting out on jogs while Grandma babysat, and eating lots of good food.

The first Saturday we were there, my high school was playing in the State Championship football game right in Bigfork. My mom was nice and watched the girls while listening to the game on the radio (it was way too cold to bring them with us). It was such and exciting game and Bigfork scored in the last 8 seconds to win! I loved being back home and realize more and more each day how lucky I was to grow up in a small town.

Thanksgiving day we had my grandparents and some friends over. We ate, played games, and had a great time.

Tub time with Brynlee in the big tub!

Bigfork's new bowling alley is just a few miles away from my parent's house. We went the first Monday we were there and then took my parents on Friday. My parents have only bowled a couple times, but you wouldn't know it, cause they are great! Dad bowled a 195!

Lauren and Brynlee bowling. Aubrey liked clapping for everyone.

On Friday night my cousin Joe played with his band in downtown Bigfork. I had never seen him play or sing before. It was so fun! Below is a video of him singing, as well as Aubrey playing with Papa.

New Carseat and Pigtails

Last week we got Aubrey a front facing carseat! We love having her facing forward and hopefully it will help make the trip to Montana for Thanksgiving a bit more enjoyable. Now Cameron and I don't have to sit in the back seat to try to keep her entertained. And Aubrey's hair is starting to get long! Ponytails and Pigtails!

Cameron and Aubrey at the NCAA West Regional Cross Country Meet in Salt Lake. We went to watch old teammates, friends, and cheer on Weber's teams.

Pigtails

Aubrey loves olives. I cut them in slices and then she sticks her finger through the hole and eats them. We couldn't get a great picture cause she is pretty fast!

It's Getting Cold!

The past couple days have been really cold and I have been missing playing outside with Aubrey. This afternoon we went to the park anyway and we had fun. Aubrey found a ball and we slid down the slide. If Aubrey would keep her mittens on we could have stayed longer!

Helping make Applesauce. She held onto my leg and screamed as I peeled apples so I let her play with the peelings. It entertained her enough so that I could finish.

Family Pictures by Jordan Sessions Photography

Last week we got some family pictures and Aubrey's one year old pictures done by one of my friends that has a photography business. I am so happy with the pictures and how they all turned out. It was freezing cold, but Aubrey was a really good sport and I love all the fall colors! If anyone needs some pictures taken, I definitely recommend Jordan Sessions. Take a look at some of the pics we got:

Halloween

Cameron, Aubrey, and I celebrated Halloween on Friday evening with the Harveys. We ate chili and chowder and carved pumpkins. Leigh and Todd also brought over their brand new puppy, Guido. Aubrey loves dogs but wasn't quite sure what to think of one so tiny.
Aubrey was a little fairy. I didn't put much effort into the costume because I knew she would probably only wear it for pictures. She looked cute though!

The Harveys had little lights to put in the pumpkins instead of candles, and Aubrey was fascinated with them. And she loves pumpkins! I will be sad to see them all disappear now that Halloween is over.

Aubrey is also enjoying the falling leaves. Yesterday we were sitting out on the lawn and I started throwing leaves up into the air. She couldn't stop laughing. We did it over and over and over. And her little laugh played through my head as I fell asleep that night. I loved it.

A few weeks ago Cameron needed some volunteers for his CERT class (Community Emergency Response Team) that he had to take for one of his school courses. Cameron's mom and I were the volunteers. We arrived early to get makeup applied and get in place for the mock earthquake disaster. We had fun seeing Cameron in action leading a group of this classmates.
